Try Something New
This week the challenge to everyone is to “try something new”. That is completely open to your interpretation – it could be a new technique, a new medium or even a new colour. Just play and have fun with one. The sample above is the front cover of a fabric altered board book that I did for the challenge. The rest of the book is on my blog. Enjoy your week everyone!

I love your book! I’ve never tried to create an altered book — though I plan to. This is the first piece I’ve ever actually created without a computer-generated mock-up. (It’s also the first time I’ve mixed acrylics.) Thanks for getting me to stretch.

Great book! I love fabric books and keep planning to make one of my own. But, as this is my first entry for Mixed Media Monday, I choose to do a digital collage.
