I know I say, week after week, that it’s hard choosing Art of the Week from all the amazing entries – but it is true! Everyone does such wonderful, unique art and you all deserve recognition.  This week Yvonne’s ATC really caught my eye – I can’t believe it’s an ATC, there is so much detail in it. So, congratulations Yvonne, your ATC is art of the week this week :-)

Art of the Week – Wings

Wow! So many participants, so much talent this week.  It seems to get harder and harder to choose a winner amongst the wonderful players of this challenge site.  But this journal page by Rosie kept pulling me back to it – I think it’s amazing, not only for it’s colours and layout, but also for the fact that the dark parts of the painting (including the birds) was done with a toothbrush!  Congratulations, Rosie!

Art of the Week – Leftovers

Wow! What a fabulous  lot of art this week – it is amazing what everyone managed to create with their leftovers.  It makes me feel better about all the stuff I refuse to throw out, grin!  I especially enjoyed visiting all the blogs where people took the time to explain what leftovers they’d used.  The artists who participate on Mixed Media Monday never cease to amaze me! You all deserve special recognition this week, but as always, there can be only one. That being said, I chose this very amazing piece by Lisa as the winner of Art of the Week – congratulations, Lisa – this piece is stunning!
